Pintail Restoration

Pintail was recommended after a water leak in guest bathroom destroyed flooring. As it has always been on my wish list, I used the opportunity to remodel the dated bathroom into a more spacious area by removing door and frame, creating a pony wall and moving electrical and medicine cabinet. Pintail provide a quote and waited while I patiently while I slowly selected floor tile, quartz vanity top, new toilet, tub and sink and then finally tub surround. I am especially grateful to Stephanie, Jimmy, Jorge, Chuy, Antonio and Manuel for their individual skill in creating what I envisioned. I would gladly work with them again on any construction project.

Pintail is my go to referral for friends , clients and investors. My inventors need mold remediation & remodeling for three investment properties. Pintail exceeded our expectations. The buyers third-party inspector even acknowledged the exceptional work pintail had done. The remediation and remodel of our three projects went smoothly and I highly recommend this business.

I had bathroom cabinets and carpet installed by Pintail. The cabinets are horrible craftsmanship. They took the fronts off my old cabinets and nailed them to four pieces of unplained, unsanded, uneven plywood. The stain used doesn't even match the fronts they recycled. The cabinets will need replaced. The carpet was installed by some day workers. You can see the seams on every connection. The carpet around corners were cut too far from the walls and their attempt to fix the cuts was to melt the carpet together underneath. The worst part of the carpet, they installed carpet from both sides of the room and when they realized the pieces were not going to meet in the middle, their "fix" was to put a 6" piece of carpet between them to connect the bigger pieces. So the highest traffic area of my living room has a 6" piece of carpet melted to the larger pieces, and again, the seams are visible. The carpet will need replaced. None of the work was done by Pintail workers. They were all subcontractors and day workers. I wouldn't just NOT recommend Pintail, I will warn anyone of the poor quality of work and service. This by far was the worst experience I've ever had. Now I have to decide to either take my losses or go to court. What a headache! Response to John - Offer a reasonable refund so I can have my home fixed. Offering $500 of the $6,000 I gave you is insulting and unreasonable. I should not be the only party in this mess of a situation to walk away at a loss. Do the right thing.
