Recently had leak repair done on my roof by emerald roofing and it came in super clutch and stood the test of the passed days rain we had and I was highly impressed..for the amount of leaks job was done in a timely manner and not to mention now the rain stays outside..thank you for your service highly recommend you for anyone with the same or other roofing troubles.

Warning this is not a contractor, this is a scam operation! We have strong evidence to support this. Caution, do not do business with this individual and lookup company status with Texas Comptroller. This man scams both clients and contractors! Update: Both my husband and I had separate experiences with him over a multi week project and are entitled to each have an opinion and review. His responses to people are just vial, wish you all could see the non public ones. Absolute worst home renovation company we have ever dealt with. They didn’t have the skills to properly install floors, were given many chances to resolve and just didn’t have the skills to do it right. We had to pay another company to go in behind them, rip out floors, and do it all over again. We lost thousands of dollars working with Girard and received a boat load of excuses such as floors can’t handle a 250 lb person walking on them. 🤣 The professional flooring company that came in after them said they have never seen floors done so poorly. They also did some drywall work for us, took some shortcuts by skipping anchors that quickly became apparent. Would not trust them in my home and especially not on a roof where work can’t be easily validated.

We had a bad experience with this company. Gerard did not communicate effectively with his crew which led to many mistakes at my house. I had to stop the crew half way building the fence because it was not at the hight that we agreed upon. Now the top rail is lower than typical and there are double the holes in half the pickets. We had bought new hinges for the kitchen cabinets for the repaint. This was known and on the contract before the crew started the holes for the old hinges were never filled before the final coat. The paint color was also wrong. When they tried to fix the holes after the fact, the touch up color was different also. We decided that was the last straw and we kicked them out. Gerard only showed up once to collect a check. He proceeded to cuss at me over text and threatened me with physical violence if I didn't pay him in full.

Warning - at the time of writing this, this business is inactive with the state of Texas due to FRANCHISE TAX INVOLUNTARILY ENDED. Please check with the Texas comptroller before doing any business with them. We have worked with many contractors in several houses over the years and Girard was by far the worst we have ever dealt with. We hired him for a large flooring project, details below. 1. He measured our stair width with an iPhone and then placed an expensive custom order for treads at our expense. Unfortunately his measurement was an inch and a half short and the materials were non-returnable. He brought in a carpenter to make the stairs and narrower but then never paid him. 2. He took many shortcuts in the entire flooring project. The floors look terrible at the end of it and they only attempted cheap fixes for everything I've been pointing out since the first day. There were wide gaps in the floor, many boards popped out and up, roofing tar was used to try to glue it down. Root of the issue was subfloor was not properly prepped. 3. Girard only showed up onsite once during the entire project, all the work was subcontracted. He only came after we started complaining about all the mistakes and was afraid of losing money. 4. Girard never took ownership for any of it and had an excuse for everything. He tried to say the floor material no good and even went as far to say the floor wouldn't support my weight (250 lbs). I'm sure you'll see example of excuses in the response. 5. It ended with him and his sub contractor saying the job was 99% done and it was the best work that they could do. In reality, I had to buy more flooring and hire a professional flooring company to come and rip out almost all of his work and replace it. The replacement flooring company said, "they'll remember this job for a long time because Girard's work is some of the worst they've ever seen".

BEWARE: Worst contractor I ever dealt with. Replace windows, they were all the wrong size which cost me more money to install . None of the screens were any good and kept falling off the windows. I had to hire another company to make new screens and replace every one of them. One of the windows cracked and will not return my calls or answer. Replaced the my roof and it leaked a couple months later and again did not answer. I had to pay someone else to replace what they did wrong.
