If you are planning on building a new custom home or doing a dream renovation, Abbott and Crane is your trusted and professional company. We provided the AV and Automation system for one of their large renovations in Bellaire, TX. Every step of the process was well communicated and executed. All of our meetings were timely and designs and solutions were well communicated, scheduled and executed. We highly recommend Abbott and Crane Construction!

Abbott and Crane was amazing to work with. We noticed a water spot in our ceiling. Ross came out and assessed the roof and other damage. He found things we did not know were damaged. He answered every one of our questions and helped us through the process of replacing our roof. There was a team of people and all of them were amazing and accommodating. They worked quickly, on our schedule, and helped us every step of the way. What an amazing company. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs roof and interior repairs. Amazing people all around.

Austin Abbott and his team were extremely helpful and responsive in the quoting process and then installed our new roof quickly and seamlessly. I would highly recommend them for any construction needs.

Beware of working with Abbott Crane. I am writing this review based on work with Abbott Crane on my home last year. I live in Bellaire, Tx and needed a portion of my fence repaired after Hurricane Beryl and found good reviews for Abbott Crane on NextDoor. Their website showed a local Bellaire office and I saw that Austin who is in charge, was a local and does work in the Bellaire area. After speaking to Austin on the phone, I received a prompt estimate for work and discussed with him replacing a portion of my fence and installation of a whole home standby generator as well. He told me his his team has done generators in the past and works well with the City of Bellaire in the permit process, which I thought could be a plus in ensuring a speedy installation. While working on the generator process, Austin arranged for a crew to start the fence. The fence was absolutely horrific when it was completed. Pieces of wood had large chunks missing, the wood was bent and nailed in place, the entire fence line was not straight in any way. Austin was out of town and I asked him to come look at the fence knowing this could not be fixed. Austin came by a few days later and agreed the fence was done very badly and the entire fence was torn down and rebuilt by another one of his crews. The redo fence was done overall well, but the fact that the first one was done so badly was my first big red flag. I had already committed to a deposit for the generator, so I continued on with Austin. Weeks and months went by before Austin said he may be close to putting in the generator. Then he discovered the stand he had fabricated was not as tall as required by the city and he would need to have it re-fabricated. After 3 more weeks of waiting, I sent Austin a text saying that he took on this job and he should give it some priority to see it through. He then said the generator installation would happen in 5 days. The morning of the planned generator installation, I got a text message from Austin that there was a “situation”. I was told that the generator was being stored at a warehouse and was stolen after being loaded on a flatbed. Not sure if I believe him at this point, but he offered to either order another generator and wait for 3 more weeks for it to come in or refund me my deposit. I went for the refund having lost all faith in Austin and his ability to follow through. I am glad I did too. I called the city and they had no permits for a generator on file for my house. Not sure if this installation would have ever happened. In true form to his poor follow through, I had to send him several messages just to get a check with the amount he owed me for the refund several days later. I hired him to do the work in mid October 2024 and got refunded for generator deposit in mid February 2025. I would avoid working with Austin and Abbott Crane for any work on your home. I was not initially going to write a review but decided to write it so others would not fall into the same trap I did and hire them.
